Website launch

It’s just over a year since I took over looking after the website from Irwin, who set-up and maintained the current club website for many years.

Irwin had unsuccessfully tried to hand over the website for a few years and in that time, the website design became outdated.

Using the feedback gained from the members survey I have re-designed the website with the assistance of Squelch design.

The re-design of the new website is nearing completion. Thanks to Bob, Mike, Sarah (on behalf of the committee), Irwin and Sue who all volunteered to review and test the site, without their help the project would not be nearing completion.

In the next day or 2 the current site will be taken off-line. The new site will then be transferred from the development page into the current web address.

Hopefully the new website will be useful and more informative for everyone. If you have any feedback when the site is launched please let me know.

Club bobble hats

The custom made NAC bobble hats have now arrived. They will be available to purchase at the next cross country league race at a heavily subsidised cost of £5 thanks to the generosity of Tailormade Building Solutions Ltd (family business of club member Jessica Franklin) and a contribution from the club. One size fits all so perfect for seniors and juniors.

Berkshire XC championships

Newbury Athletic Club enjoyed medal success at the Berkshire County Cross Country Championship this weekend at a very wet and muddy course in Woodley.
