Kintbury 5 mile – 7th June 2020

In 2020 the Ollie Johnson memorial Kintbury 5 Mile will no longer be called the Ollie Johnson memorial race.

Kintbury St. Marys School will be the main organiser and Dave Wright will help them during the first year, before stepping down after organising the race for 20 years. The race will still be part of the Run West Berks series and will be renamed the Kintbury 5 Mile Run.

The Ollie Johnson trust will continue to help the clubs young athletes and be administered by Ian and Lorriane Johnson.

Dave Wright has been most grateful to everyone from Newbury AC who have helped with the race in the past and it would be much appreciated for this next “transition” year if anyone could help again.

As the race will still be the second counter in the Run West Berks series, he hopes to see lots of red/white/blue vests running again including himself!
