Marcus Bridger-Wilkinson got the weekend off to a good start. Marcus set a PB and college record of 4:06.41 for the indoor mile while finishing runner-up in an invitational event in Birmingham, Alabama. Marcus followed up with another excellent run in Saturday, finishing 2nd in the 800m in 1:52.79.

Monique Krefting was also setting records in the comfort of an indoor arena at the British Masters Indoor Pentathlon Championships. She set new Dutch W45 age-group records in the High Jump (1.57m) and Pentathlon (3944 points). Monique, also won the W45 age-group at the championships.

Peter Crisp (17:08) won the Copenhagen Parkrun and Phil Marshall (17:25) improved his PB by over 30 seconds in the Fulham Parkrun. Maisie Jeger was the first female finisher in the Newbury Parkrun.

Several club member took part in the Bramley 10 & 20 mile road races organized by Reading Roadrunners. The Report to follow when results are published. The top performance of the day came from a resurgent Sophie Crumly who was 2nd lady in the 10-miles taking 15th place overall in 60:08. Julie Coxhead set a new club age-group record in the W55-59 category with a time of 1:18:28.
