Still smiling after the Tadley 10

Salisbury Half-Marathon (inc. British Masters Champs): Geoff Anderson finished a very creditable 7th in the M60 category in a time of 1:34:26.

Abingdon Marathon: Dan Reeves overcame his recent injury problems to finish 207th  in 3:25:08

Tadley 10 miles: 14 club members took part with Steve Barnes finishing 3rd overall and 1st M40 in 59:11. Chris Pudney won the M50 category finishing in 68:07. Other Newbury AC  finishers were: Martin Walker 8th, 63:41; Nige Popplewell 11th 64:42; Phil Marshall 18th, 67:42;  Martyn Staines 19th, 67:58; Andrew Russell 36th, 71:33; Nina Martin 45th, 73:25; Matt Studart 46th; 73:25; Steve Ferriday 50th, 74:38; Chris Hobson 51st; 74:42; Ryan Hill 55th, 75:07; Paul Endley 56th, 75:13; Malcolm Knight 119th; 89:20.

Birmingham half-marathon: Steve Elsmere ran a personal best of 82:52 for 125th place (Pre-race balti & beer seems to work!). Becky Coxhead was 3134 in 1:48.52. There were around 14,500 finishers.

Cabbage Patch 10: James Craggs finished 47th in 58:58 and Chloe Blair 620th in 79:18
