Well done Girls, great performance.  Thank you to Georgia Knight and Katya Burgess for stepping up to do the high jump at short notice to get some points and well done for your first track performance Isabel Moore and Katya Burgess.

U13 Boys

Lincoln Williams did the sprint double again winning 100m 13.5s Grade 3 and 200m 28.5s Grade 4.

James Humphreys Javelin 19.05m PB and High Jump 1.20m equalling his PB.

Archie Matthews took a tumble in the 75m Hurdles but was up again so fast he made 4th place with an injury. Cody Long also ran 800m for the team when not feeling his best. We hope you are both fully fit next time as we need you back.

Thanks also to Mawgan Bird and Elliot Robins for their first time competing this season and taking on a variety of events with tremendous enthusiasm and contributing lots of team points. You now have some targets to work on next time.

U15 Boys

Ollie Lloyd-Hole Long Jump 4.0m PB, High Jump 1.4m for a big new PB and 100m 13.9s.

Specialist thrower Finley Hanham, Shot 8.11m and two big new PBs in Discus 26.65m Grade 4  and Javelin 24.97m.

Ed Langdon also threw well winning the B string Discus with 21.54m and ran a fabulous 300m in 43.4 getting the same time as 2nd place but given 3rd. A tremendous effort, as was apparent afterwards. (Enough said!)

Marcus Bu-rashid 200m 25.5s Grade 4 PB, also with the same time as 2nd place but edged into 3rd.

Sam, Ed, Robert and Marcus finally ran the best relay time for several years getting 3rd place in 54.2s. Some good baton changing. Well done.

Callum Potts won 400m by a big margin with a 56.2s PB.

Finally, Lawrence, Ben, Callum and Alistair won the 4x100m relay in a spectacular 47.4s. Again the best time in many years and putting the U17M first overall.

The whole team was 4th overall taking some good results against three big clubs and beating the two other smaller clubs. Well done everyone, your attitude and determination is a real credit to you.

Don’t forget our last match this season on 7th July back at Winchester.
